Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association offers many activities to its membership. All of which are run exclusively by membership volunteers.

Yes, VOLUNTEERS!

Volunteers help keep the dues down and activities/events coming. This is why the Club reserves one night a year, generally occurring in late August, to give recognition and thanks to the adult (over 21 years of age) and junior volunteers who have completed at least twenty hours of volunteer activity for adults and ten hours of volunteer activity for juniors.

Volunteers lead our Voting Board, Committees, Sailing Programs, Athletic Programs, Clubhouse Programs.   They  badge check at the beaches, chaperone at teen functions, instruct and share their talents, supervise, set-up and decorate for clubhouse activities and much much more.

At the Annual Appreciation Night events, a buffet dinner of delicious foods are served, entertainment  and a memorable gift or token of the Club's appreciation is given to the volunteers. These are cherished and only the volunteers receive these tokens for the hours of volunteerism. This night is a great social evening at which friends meet, laugh, have some fun and are proud of their accomplishments.  Acknowledgement, appreciation and recognition is the menu for the evening and well deserved.

If you are interested in volunteering, you are needed in these areas: Committee members for Communications, Clubhouse, Roads, Badge Checking, Boat/Dock, Dam, Rules/ByLaws, Ecology, Fishing, Recreation and Building and Grounds. We could also use your help in these areas: The Annual Art Show, Athletics, Baby Parade, Basketball, Bocce, Boys and Girls Adventure Club, Clubhouse Events, Cooking Class, Family Day, Sailing, Lakeside Cafe, Teen Council, Movie Night, Arts and Crafts, New Years Bash, Holiday Lighting ... just to name a few.   Check out all we do, we enjoy 'helping' and so will you.  Join us and volunteer!
