The Larry Wilson “Best in Show” award went to Marci Werman. This is the first time that his award was given for a photograph. I want to thank the Art Show Committee for the many hours of meetings and work that they give to produce a topnotch Art Show each year. ----------------------------------- Quilt of Valor Takes Blue Ribbon Made by Maryjane Wisniewski This “Quilt of Valor” was made to donate to an injured military person serving in the Iraq war. I was inspired to make this quilt when my son, Col. Wisniewski retired U.S.A.F., met many severely injured men at Walter Reed Hospital. When my quilt group asked for volunteers to make quilts for our injured service people, I volunteered. It is with great pleasure that I accept the Blue Ribbon and even greater pleasure to be able to bring cheer to whomever shall receive it. -------------------------------------
