News Update!

Our annual "Card Party" held on August 7th was a wonderful success! Due to the efforts of ALL of the Auxiliary members who planned, who packaged terrific prizes, and who presented an event that was enjoyable by all in attendance.

Gail and I extend sincere thanks to the hardworking auxiliary members for all their help. It's heartwarming to see 50+ women working together on a project that benefits local charities, the HL Fire Department & Rescue Squad and, naturally, our beautiful lake community. We're always looking for new members to share their ideas and talents with us.

We also extend heartful gratitude to our wonderful Teen Council who "ran the prizes", served refreshments and assisted our guests. You're terrific!

Another integral part of the "Card Party" success is due to our HLCC Office Staff who jumped right in to help four months prior to this event. MANY THANKS!

 We certainly would have been in poor shape if Jim and his able-bodied crew didn't set up the two rooms for our use. The "breakdown" was equally strenuous and we salute you for your much needed help!

It's a real joy to work alongside such dedicated HL community members who repeatedly go out of their way to lend a hand to someone. The "Card Party" will be planned for 2008 and we hope you'll enjoy the evening with us in our beautiful air conditioned Lake Room.

Ahoy, all you land-lubbers! Get ready to leave terra firma and grab your swim fins and snorkels. Let's explore the beauty of our Caribbean Coral Reef.

August 7, 2007 is the date to mark your calendar for a fund-raising event that everybody loves. The Women's Auxiliary raises money just once a year to benefit our beautiful lake community, local charities, rescue squads, etc.

Tricky Tray prizes ranging from small to GRAND will knock your eyes out and just wait until you see the clubhouse decorations. Maybe King Neptune will join us! Every year our terrific Teen Council provides their help by running prizes to you and serving delicious desserts and refreshing drinks. Tell your friends, grab your neighbors, call your co-workers and watch the Newsette for more information in the following weeks.
