9:30 / HAPPY WALKERS (Meet at Clubhouse)

All members interested in taking a 1 to 2 mile walk, socializing with each other along the way, are invited to meet up at the Clubhouse on Mondays at 9:30. Different destinations each week! (Date and time subject to change - watch Newsette for details!)
We had our “Great Group” walking today. We had a wonderful walk up the mountain. Our experiences have made us quite hardy. Today, we observed many improvements around our lakes. The gardens alongside the homes and road were glorious. One area of begonias were magnificent. We noticed another new addition to our lake. One house that was covered with brush has now been uncovered by new owners with a beautiful young family. Now we can all see our lovely lake as we walk by. Good luck on your new home and welcome to our lake.

Today was an exceptional walk. All around our large lake we were greeted by bountiful bouquets of Queen Ann's Lace and Rose of Sharon. The heron stood tall as a statue as we walked by. We stopped by the artesian well and refreshed ourselves with the most natural water that doesn't come in a bottle and can't be store bought.
We meet each Monday at 9AM at our Clubhouse. Bring your smile and wear your sneakers. Remember be here or be nowhere!

Like the mail persons, no doom and gloom can stop us.
We had our best walk of the season. This week our destination was a walk up, up, up and down around lake five. The walk was refreshing and most invigorating. The lake and surrounding area was beautiful and bountiful. As usual there was lots of chatting and before we realized it, we were back at our Clubhouse.
We meet each Monday morning at 9AM. Bring your sneakers and your smile. Remember be here or be nowhere!

Today started out gray and gloomy, but we were still out and about. The sun came out and the gloom and gray disappeared. Happy were we whom the sun shined on. Our regulars were in force and we met an alumni and friend who had a head start on us today. Some grandmotherly duties sent one walker home a bit early; another had a doctor's appointment so off she went too. The rest of us continued and received the beautiful sights and sounds of our lakes.

OUR TIME HAS CHANGED; we now meet Thursdays at 9:00AM at the Clubhouse. It was recommended that we meet at 9AM, so please note the change of time. Our recent walk was great, filled with catch up chatting. Mother nature was at her finest, with her spectacular views.
