30th Annual Jogathon/WalkathonFrank Henninger # 3363 |
|
Dorothy Henninger drove our Courtesy Car and made many, many trips around the big lake with water to check on everyone to make sure they and the pets were okay and well hydrated. We all enjoyed orange juice upon returning to the clubhouse. John Grimaldi created history by being the first participant in 30 years to make the trip around the big lake in a battery powered scooter. A nice touch was having Nancy Grimaldi (my daughter) participate as it was 30 years ago that Nancy and her dad jogged around the big lake. Nancy was a member of the Vernon H.S. undefeated Cross Country Team when the idea of the Jogathon was born. Making it even more special was having my grandson Thomas Grimaldi, his friend Justine and my granddaughter Christine Grimaldi participate. Having them there made it special. Consider joining us next year. It is always an enjoyable event.
