Newlywed GameFor the Not so Newlyweds 2007! |
|
Friday Night may have been cold and chilly outside but it was warm and fuzzy in the Clubhouse Seckler Room with our four Newlywed Couples! The McCarthy, Loomis, Bender and Rubin "newlyweds" gave us a show to remember. Our winners, just like in the 'real show' came down to a climax finish. Charlie and Cindy Loomis finished first when the McCarthy's had different ideas on their wedding song. All was in good fun and congratulations went to all couples. Certainly a fabulous night with many memories was had by all. All the couples received 'goodie bags' for participating and the audience was also awarded with prizes. The winning couple recieved HL T-Shirts in red and the ability to go to any island in HL on one of the boat livery boats available in season. Additionally, they will be written up in the famous HL Newsette and as you are reading this, are posted on the world wide web site of hlcc.org. :-) Special thanks to the Clubhouse Committee of Roe Hall, Julie Brierly and Carol Hastie for putting on such a good show. Also to be mentioned was the Buruchian Family and the Clubhouse Maintenance for helping with all those mics, lights and set-ups. Set your calendars for around the same time for a memorable evening of fun.
