School is almost out and that means playgroup will be coming to an end. The last day is May 30th. We will be having an ice cream party on that day. Sadly, we will be losing Bonny Wtulich who has been one of our coordinators for playgroup. Her son James will be moving on to new school adventures. Thank you for your time & care that you put into playgroup. Both will be missed. We also have a new member to playgroup Dean Thomas Grundy was born on Friday, April 4. Congrats. to big brother Shane and the Grundy family.
New to Highland Lakes? HLCC Playgroup is open to members whose children’s ages are from 0-5. We share crafts and snacks. Playgroup meets Mondays and Fridays from 10am-12noon from September to May. Spring will soon be here! We will be working on our shamrocks for St Patrick’s Day. Also, we will be welcoming Easter with bunnies and flowers. Our Easter Party/Egg hunt will be on March 17th.

We are keeping our hearts warm in February with plenty of Valentines crafts. Our Valentines Party will be on February 15th.
Playgroup will not meet on Monday, February 18th. We would like to give a big thank you to Santa KC & Al for donating your time and bringing gifts to the children at our Christmas party.

What a fun time of year for our little ones. Our Christmas party will be on Monday, December 17th from 10 AM to 12 Noon. The party is open to all HLCC members and the children 5 and under. *Santa will be coming to the party to give out presents to the children. Please bring a small ($10.00 and under) wrapped present with you on the day of the party. Please make sure your child’s first name and last initial is clearly written on the present. Also, in December we will be busy making some Holiday crafts for the kids to share with their families. Playgroup will not meet on the following days: December 21st, 24th and 28th.

The little ones had a great time at Pochuck Farm for our apple picking trip and we are grateful the weather held out. In October we will be focusing on fall with spider webs, black cats, ghosts and pumpkins of course. Our pumpkin picking trip to Heaven Hill Farm will be on Oct 26th which includes a hayride to the pumpkin field, a tour of the farm animals and pig races! We will be having our Halloween Party/Parade on 10/31. Playgroups days will be changing from Wednesday & Fridays to Mondays & Fridays beginning in November Happy Birthday wishes to our members celebrating birthdays:
