Fleet Racing Sailors at ESC:   Tube Sail Storage!

Sue Buruchian #7420   4burufam@warwick.net

It is with great pleasure and combined efforts that I report to the HL Sailing Fleets that our Sail Storage Tubes will be available

for fleet racing sailors at Eckhart Sailing Center commencing the start of this season.  There will  be 15 individual tubes of which are

individually lockable and sized to handle, Sunfish, Force 5, Comet, Windsurfer or Catamaran sails.  Interested sailors  of any fleet  docked

at ESC in HL are available to contact us for this upcoming seasons use.  Junior sunfish sailors should immediately apply .

A hold harmless release form is being developed and must be signed prior to use.  Once the release form is developed and confirmed, it will be distributed accordingly.

Lock information will have to be provided to S. Buruchian who will in turn give to HL Security.

Please note the benefit for this Sail Storage System continues.  Please plan on attending the Sailors Brunch on June 29th to help this effort.

The Club has been kind and supportive enough to  help us get this program up and running prior to the season, but still needs our help to fulfill our benefit requirements.

You’ll be glad you attended with Ralph Terra’s talent, great offerings of brunch food and camaraderie among all HL members- The Sailors Brunch is a hot ticket!

In the meantime, please contact Sue Buruchian @ 7420 (4burufam@warwick.net) for more detailed information on the Sail Storage availability and your particular interest.

I cannot end this article without thank you’s particularly to our Club Manager, Jack McLaughlin, the entire HL Voting Board and HL Maintenance, especially, Jim Zabruskie and

Tom and Ellen Buckney who donated their boat rack for this effort.
