DANGER!  THIN ICE WARNING!

You need to recognize that frozen lakes do not freeze uniformly, and that there is a danger every time you enter upon a frozen lake.

Use of the lakes and other property owned by the Club is, at all times, solely at your own risk.  From time to time, thin areas of ice may emerge which pose a danger to all skaters and fishermen, and extreme caution should be used at all times.   We strongly encourage you to check the area before you enter upon the ice, avoid areas where water flows either into or out of the lake, to always have a partner with you, and to always skate in areas where the depth of the water is less than your height.  Take specific note that Beach 1 and Beach 2 have nearby stream inflows and the ice in these areas may be particularly unstable.
